Carlene McClure Farmer, age 83, of Russellville, KY formerly of Farmington, KY passed away Friday, July 5, 2024 at the Magnolia Village in Bowling Green, KY.
She retired as librarian for Mid-Continent University Bible College after 35 years of service. Carlene was also a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two sons, David (Christi) Farmer of Russellville, KY and Spence Farmer of Farmington, KY; one sister, Kay (Lube) Beadles of Sedalia, KY; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bro. Don Farmer; one sister, Sue Johnson; one brother, Raymond McClure; her parents were Jodie and Jewel Shankle McClure.
A graveside service is scheduled for 1:30 PM Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the Farmington Cemetery. Rev. Ben Stratton and Rev. Barry Raley will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield.
