
Sixty-eight shooters from all over the country plus England and New Zealand participated in the Arkansas Open this past weekend in Little Rock, Ark. The High Overall Winner was Caile Bradham of Belden, Mississippi. This was Caile’s first skeet shoot in over three years after a 3-year hiatus shooting Sporting Clays. He broke a perfect score of 400/400. His squad mates did well also with Nick Ballentine of Martinez, Ca placing runner up with a 398/400. Nick won the US Open 2 weeks ago with a similar 398/400.
Another squad mate, Dr. Kenneth Ford of Sharpe placed AAA5 and senior runner up with a 394/400. Ford had scores of 98/100 in the 12g event (AA4), 100/100 in the 20g event (AA1), 100/100 in the 28g event (AAA5), 96/100 in the 410 event (AAA5) and 97/100 in the Doubles event (AAA4).
The next big shoot will be in St. Joe, Indiana in two weeks with several local shooters planning on attending.
