Rayburn “Ray” Douglas Rudd, 80 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at his home.
Ray was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 28, 1943 to the late Bernie Rudd and Pansy Buchanan. He worked as a self-employed mechanic and was a veteran of the United States Army. Ray enjoyed spending time riding horses, 4 wheelers and motorcycles. He was a member of Promise Land Ministries.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judith “Judy” Radford Rudd; two sons, Kevin Rudd and Keith Rudd (Casi) all of Benton; two brothers, Danny Edwards of Detroit, MI and Dennis Edwards (Patrice) of Monroe, MI; one sister, Betty Lou Gilbeau of Lincoln Park, MI; four grandchildren, Tosha Rudd, Landon Rudd, Griffin Rudd and Maci Mae Rudd; three great-grandchildren, Gabriel Wagers, Zachary Quertermous and Christian; and two great great-granddaughters.
