Mrs. Jocile McManus, age 94 of Symsonia, KY died on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Southgate Nursing and Rehab, Metropolis, IL. She was a faithful member of Symsonia Baptist Church and was a retired operator for Florsheim.
Born Friday, October 4, 1929 in Paducah, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lois Farmer and the late Agnes (McCain) Farmer.
Surviving are sons, Donnie McManus (Connie) of Symsonia, KY and Mark McManus (Teresa) of Symsonia, KY, grandchildren, Meagan Young, Jordan McManus, Jodi Butler, Jaime Adkins, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband, James Victor McManus, brothers, Lyles Farmer, Jim Farmer and Tom Farmer, and sister, Evelyn Barker.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Rick Miller officiating.
Interment will follow in Symsonia Cemetery, Symsonia, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home.
