She was a member of Cuba Church of Christ and a retired employee of Cuba Elementary School.
Mrs. Shelby is survived by one son, Larry Dale (Pam) Shelby of Lynnville, KY; one daughter, Lori (James Thomas) Frazier of Lynnville, KY; one sister, Nancy (Ronnie) Gatewood of Martin, TN; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry E. Shelby and her parents, Hayden Vincent and Estelle Mills Brooks.
Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Jean Shelby will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Eric George will officiate. Interment will follow at Cuba Church of Christ Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Frazier, Logan Shelby, Dustin Shelby, Sandy Coleman, Jay Mosley and Todd Gatewood. Honorary pallbearers will be Stetson Michael Frazier, Finley Edward Shelby and Isabella Rose Shelby.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the funeral home.
