
Bruce Tucker, 67, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on June 14, 2024, at Riverhaven Nursing & Rehabilitation.
Bruce was born in Cairo, Illinois, on February 26, 1957, to the late Joe H. and Lettuce Strange Tucker. He was a retired carpenter and craftsman and attended New Covenant Church. Bruce was a devoted outdoorsman, finding enjoyment in hunting and fishing. He was also an avid dancer, as well as a dance instructor. Bruce’s zest for life was matched by his immense love for his children and grandchildren and a compassionate heart for stray animals that always found a friend in him. He will be lovingly remembered as a kind soul, an adventurous spirit, and a creative mind. His departure leaves an unforgettable mark on the hearts of all who knew him.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jackie Whitmire Tucker; daughter, Victoria Blaine (Aaron) of Lynchburg, Virginia; two sons, Joseph Tucker (Heather) of West Paducah, and Kagan Brannum (Samuel Griffith) of Rapid City, South Dakota; sister, Dorothy “Dot” Ladd of Lexington, Kentucky; brother, Dean Turner (Trina) of Kevil, Kentucky; and five grandchildren, Jennifer Tucker, Christopher Tucker, Hannah Long, Matthia Long Blaine, and Kinley Freeman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at Brook Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the service time of 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
