On Saturday June 8th, 2024, at approximately 1224 hours, Deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Hovekamp Road & Yarbro Lane.
The on-scene investigation determined that Margaret Reese (83) of Paducah, KY, was operating a 2017 Jeep Compass Southbound on Yarbro Lane and William Guminski (66) of Kevil, KY, was operating a 2009 Chevy Silverado Eastbound on Hovekamp Road.
The two vehicles collided in the intersection as Reese attempted to turn left (Eastbound) onto Hovekamp Road while Guminski was continuing straight (Eastbound) on Hovekamp Road. The collision caused Reese’s Jeep Compass to leave the roadway and enter a nearby ditch.
Reese was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Reidland-Farley Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS, and Lent’s Towing.
