
Pat Shadwick, 74, of Melber, Kentucky, passed away on May 29, 2024, at her residence.
Pat was born on March 1, 1950, in Cairo, Illinois, to the late Bill and Helen Palmer Holmes. Pat was a devoted homemaker and caregiver, who dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting those around her. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Clinton, Kentucky. Pat was a devout Christian lady, a steadfast prayer warrior, and was always willing to offer support to anyone in need. Her involvement with the Women’s Missionary Union and her senior citizens’ gatherings, was always a source of comfort and inspiration. Those who knew Pat will fondly remember her for her generosity and kindness. She lived a life of service and caring, touching the hearts of many.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Harpole (Jason) of Lowes, Kentucky; sister, Pam Upshaw (Buddy) of Golconda, Illinois; brother, Rick Holmes (Cindy) of Barlow, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Lisa Ervin (Jacob) of Patuxent River, Maryland and Jonathon Harpole of Lowes, Kentucky; one great-grandson, Jasper Ervin; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Charles “Chuck” Shadwick; grandson, Josh Harpole; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Second Baptist Church in Clinton, Kentucky, with Rev. Dustin Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the service time of 2:00 P.M. on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Second Baptist Church in Clinton, Kentucky.
