Jesse Griffith, 90, of Benton received his heavenly reward on Friday, May 10, 2024, at his residence.
Jesse retired from BF Goodrich and was a member of Woodlawn Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Jesse is survived by his five children, Roger (Vebbie) Griffith of Paducah, Donna (Russell) Thompson of Paducah, Jessica (Charles) Weatherford of Benton, Pam (Steve) Owen of Kevil, and Todd Griffith of Louisville; ten grandchildren, Brandon Griffith, Emily Griffith, Trent Thompson, Brittany Bartley, Amy Furr, Hollie Hansen, Sasha Owen, Taylor Owen, Pierce Owen, and Jesse Wayne Griffith; seven great-grandchildren, Bailey Thompson, Brady Thompson, Gavin Furr, Cayenne Owen, Cajun Owen, Cash Owen, and Cora Owen; one brother, Johnnie Griffith; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Fowler Griffith; his parents, John and Emily Griffith; one brother, Jack Griffith; and two sisters, Sylvia Kelly and Mary Thompson.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
