She was of the Church of Christ faith and the retired owner / operator of Benita’s Beauty Salon.
Ms. Bennett is survived by one son, Dave Bennett of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Valeria (Mark) Davis of Mayfield, KY; four grandchildren, Tyler (Ashlea) Terrell of Paducah, KY, Travis Terrell of Benton, KY, Heather Bennett of Mayfield, KY and Hailey (Greg) Cook of Mayfield, KY; and nine great grandchildren, Kylar Bennett of Mayfield, KY, Zane Cook of Mayfield, KY, Ava Kirby of Mayfield, KY, Layla Cook of Mayfield, KY, Mya Terrell of Benton, KY, Macie Terrell of Benton, KY, Paysli Terrell of Paducah, KY, Tripp Terrell of Paducah, KY and Kennadi Tune of Paducah, KY.
She was preceded in death by two great grandchildren, Kyleigh Bennett and Tate Terrell and her parents, Jonah and Mildred Wray Bennett.
Graveside services for Ms. Benita Bennett will be 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Water Valley Cemetery. Mark Ray will officiate. Interment will follow.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Terrell, Travis Terrell, Mark Davis, Dave Bennett, Greg Cook and Zane Cook.
Visitation will be 12:00 – 2:30 p.m. on Thursday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
