
Mrs. Edda Dowell Prince, age 84, of Huntingdon, TN, formerly of the Cuba community, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Huntingdon, TN, a member of Graves County Homemakers Club, a member of Baptist Women’s Missionary Group and a retired employee of H.I.S. clothing company in Fulton, KY.
Mrs. Prince is survived by her husband, Van Prince; two daughters, Vanedda (Lance) Webb of Dyersburg, TN and Renee (Daniel) Childress of Hollow Rock, TN; six grandchildren, Samuel (Stefanie) Webb, Justin Webb, Cheyenne Childress, Zachary Childress, William Webb and Shelby Childress; and four great grandchildren, Johnathan Webb, Elliott Webb, Lily Webb and Luna Webb.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Beulah Whitt Dowell.
Graveside services for Mrs. Edda Dowell Prince will be 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Cuba Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Jacob Harris and Ralph Prince will officiate. Interment will follow.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Webb, Justin Webb, Zachary Childress, William Webb, Daniel Childress and Lance Webb. Honorary pallbearers will be Gail Dobson, Jerry Griffith and Edward Moreland.
Visitation will be 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Cuba Baptist Church.
