He was a member of the Catholic Faith and was employed by the Pockett’s Shell Service Station of Mayfield.
Sidney is survived by his son, Dustin Nathaniel (Jacey) Guidry of Aurora, KY; one brother, Roger (Sarah) Guidry of Lumberton, TX; two sisters, Martha Scheffield of Highlands, TX and Fay Guidry of Morgan City, LA; father, Lynwood Guidry of Morgan City, LA; one grandchild, Waylon Guidry also survives.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Manuel Guidry.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY is in charge of arrangements.
