Ben Garrott, age 68, of Mayfield, KY passed away Saturday April 27, 2024 at his residence.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a retired employee from the Kentucky Department of Transportation.
Mr. Garrott is survived by; his wife of 22 years, Joyce Kelley Garrott; three sons, Joseph (Ruth) Garrott of Madisonville, KY, William (Kayla) Garrott of Murray, KY, and Ray (Amy) Kelley of Hopkinsville, KY; two daughters, Debra (Will) Geiger of Hopkinsville, KY and Sarah (Matt) Gamble pf Clarksburg, PA; one brother, Lee (Susan) Garrott of Ten Mile, TN; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Virginia Bingham Garrott.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00PM Wednesday May 1, 2024 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Patrick Wallace will officiate. Interment will follow in the Jenny Ridge Cemetery in Trigg County, KY. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Wednesday May 1, 2024 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
