Nellie Jo Colson Jones, age 92, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation.
Nellie Jo was born on August 26, 1931 in Briensburg, Kentucky to the late Sanders and Josephine English Colson.
Nellie Jo was a member of Reidland Baptist Church for 60 years and held her faith true to her heart. She was a wonderful mother that cared and loved her daughter more than anything.
Nellie Jo is survived by a daughter, Sheryl Teresa Jones of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edwin Jones; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the service hour of 1:00pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
