
Jimmy D. Jackson, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, at his home in Paducah, KY. Born on September 29, 1947, in Calloway County, KY to Guy Brown and Clara Lucille Baker Jackson. Jimmy was a proud graduate of Murray State University and a dedicated electrician who retired from the United States Enrichment Corporation.
Jimmy was an active member of the Concord West Church of Christ. His love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for farming, gardening, and mowing. His affection for animals further exemplified his gentle spirit, but above all, Jimmy adored his family, enjoying spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cathy Lockhart Jackson of Paducah; a beloved daughter, Susan (John) Gore of Benton, KY; two grandsons, Mason Gore and Lucas Gore along with a brother, Randy (Donna) Jackson of Turner Station, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Rebecca Hale.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Murray Memorial Gardens with Mr. Keith Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
