Mrs. Euple Lee, age 92, of Almo, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at her home.
Mrs. Lee was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on October 1, 1931, to the late Barnes Burkeen and Ola (Hopkins) Burkeen. Mrs. Lee was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie Joe Lee; one son, Hugh Wayne “Butch” Thompson; two sisters; three brothers, and by two sons-in-law, Mark Buckingham and Steve Vidmer.
Mrs. Lee is survived by four daughters, Evelyn Paulette Sykes and husband Mike, Pamela Vidmer, Renee Buckingham, and Tina Wilson and husband Michael all of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter-in-law, Linda (Thompson) Tidwell of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Ola Mae James of Nashville, Tennessee; one brother, Jackie Burkeen of Murray, Kentucky; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren,
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Bro. Trad York will officiate, and burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
