Charles E. Christian (Chuck/Chas), 67, of Paducah, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 6, 2024, after an extended illness.

Chuck was born on August 17, 1956, in Paducah, Kentucky.  He was a 1974 graduate of Lone Oak High School. In 1978, he earned his Accounting degree with honors from the University of Kentucky and his law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1981, finishing second in his class.

Chuck spent his career advising clients as a business and tax consultant, CPA, and attorney primarily in Lexington, Kentucky.   In retirement, he returned to Paducah and attended Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He was a member of the Paducah Moose Lodge #285.  He was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan, a huge Rock & Roll enthusiast (especially the Rolling Stones & Lucinda Williams), loved dogs, space travel, Bloom County comic strip, and was a voracious reader and a true foodie.

Chuck earned his Eagle Scout award as a teenager and his pilot license as a young adult.   He was a Mason and a Past Master of Lexington Masonic Lodge #1.

He is survived by his two brothers; Donald Christian and wife, Leigh, of Tucson, AZ, and Ronald Christian and wife, Vicki, of Ft. Thomas, KY; a nephew, David Christian; two nieces, Caroline Christian and Katy Reynolds; a great nephew, Conley Lorch; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie R. Christian and Mary Helen Carneal Christian, and his precious dogs (his babies), Jules and Fred.

Please join us in celebrating his life. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 11:30 to 12:30 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Paducah.

A Rite of Committal graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery in LaCenter, Kentucky with Rev. Gary Clark officiating.
