She was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Mayfield, KY and a retired employee of South Central Bell Telephone Company.
Mrs. Carter is survived by her son, Owen R. (Inge) Malone of Wingo, KY; six grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack H. Carter and her parents, John and Annie Laura Weaver Owen.
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie L. Carter will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Dr. Rick Loader will officiate. Interment will follow at Mayfield Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Josh Malone, Zachary Malone, Caleb Malone, Derek Canter, Rusty Hutchison and Mark Crass.
Visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
