Mr. Matthew Sparks, 40, of Murray, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at his home.
Matthew was born on September 21, 1983 in Paris, TN to Johnny Sparks and Debra Radford Sparks. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Murray State University and was currently pursuing his Master’s degree. Matthew loved cats, playing video games and his music. He was a 2001 graduate of Murray High School.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his son, Zayn Sparks of Murray; his father, Johnny Sparks of Camden, TN and his mother and step father, Debra and Cecil Smothers of Paris, TN.
His family welcomes visitors from 2 pm – 4 pm on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, 311 North 4th Street, Murray.
