Paducah Total Solar Eclipse Festival

Beautiful Paducah, Paducah Main Street, and Wildhair Studios Rock Shop are organizing a grassroots Total Eclipse Festival on Sunday, April 7, and Monday, April 8, to bring the community and travelers together to celebrate this twice-in-a-lifetime experience! Paducah is ONCE AGAIN along the route for the total eclipse event.

The two-day event will be held in the heart of Paducah’s historic downtown district, spanning from the third block of Broadway down to the riverfront. The community street fair will include elements of science/astronomy, gastronomy, astrology, education, art, gastronomy, and entertainment. Jason Lindsay, aka Mr. Science from Hooked on Science, will be on tap.

Demonstrations will be held inside the Inland Waterways Museum. Other elements include art activities for adults and children, live local artists, celestial-themed education/reading stations, yoga and meditation stations, guided star gazing, a psychic fair, live music, food and drink, and shopping vendors.

The event will be held from noon to 9 PM on Sunday, April 7. Hours for Monday, April 8 are from 10 AM to 4 PM.

The event is being held in conjunction with the Simons Foundation, a New York-based private foundation whose mission is to advance the frontiers of research in mathematics and the basic sciences. The Paducah Convention & Visitors Bureau and the City of Paducah are also eclipse event partners.
