Joan Elaine Mallory, age 77, of West Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 10:47 P.M. Friday, March 29, 2024 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Joan was born in Beech Creek, Kentucky on Wednesday, May 29, 1946 to Obie and Lillian Whitney. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, cooking delicious meals, and was very proud to be a coal miner’s daughter. Joan will be remembered for her love for her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Mallory is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roger Gail Mallory; her daughter, Lori Whitney Summers (Thomas) of West Paducah; her sons, Christopher Sean Mallory of West Paducah and Bradford Heath Mallory (Julie) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her sister, Shirley Hunt (Ronald) of Madisonville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Connor, Kaelin, Collin Mallory and Trace Summers.
Mrs. Mallory was preceded in death by her parents, Obie Lee Whitney and Lillian Louise Davis Whitney.
A memorial funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Dr. Jason Browning officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the funeral home.
