Calvert City pickleball players compete in MPC St. Paddy’s Paddle Battle

Two doubles team earned Silver at the Fenton, Mo. pickleball tournament (L-R) Jennifer Wilson and Myra Krenis in 4.5 Women’s Doubles and Kayla Travis and Tyler Denbo in 4.5 Mixed Doubles.

Calvert City Pickleball players went to Fenton, Mo. to participate in the MPC St. Paddy’s Paddle Battle March 14-17. Missouri Pickleball Club (MPC) is one of the largest indoor pickleball clubs in the US. This 51,000 square foot facility has 18 courts and five championship courts. This tournament had almost 500 entries and some events having as many as 30 plus teams competing, Divisions included Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles any age and 50+ 60+ age groups.

Silver Medal Winners:
Jennifer Wilson and Myra Krenis – 4.5 Women’s Doubles
Kayla Travis and Tyler Denbo – 4.5 Mixed Doubles

Bronze Medal Winners:
Brent Thompson and Jeremy Hudgin – 4.0/4.5 Men’s Doubles 50+
Jennifer Wilson and Brent Thompson – 4.0 Mixed Doubles
Brigette Thompson and Jeremy Hudgin – 3.5 Mixed Doubles 50+
