William A. Hoffman, 93, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 4:51 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at his residence. He was born on January 28, 1931 in Leetonia, Ohio. Bill was retired from B.F. Goodrich of Akron, Ohio as an Engineer. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from West Liberty University. Bill was a member of the Masonic Lodge in West Virginia. He enjoyed playing golf at Paxton Park, corresponding with friends and family on the computer, and checking books out from the public library. Bill was an avid reader and crossword expertise.
Bill is survived by his wife of 72 years, Mildred “Midge” Simmons Hoffman; two daughters, Leslee Brockett and husband, John of Michigan and Loree Eatherton of Colorado; three sons, Kurt Hoffman of Maine, Marc Hoffman and wife, Jennifer of North Carolina and William “Billy” Hoffman and wife, Jennifer of Paducah, Kentucky; eighteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Hoffman Bree; son, Karl Hoffman and a grandson, Seth William Hoffman.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
