Mrs. Norma L. Viniard, 84,of Dexter, KY, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2024 at Spring Creek Healthcare.
Mrs. Viniard was born on December 19, 1939 in Mayfield, KY to the late James Truman Sims and Tennie Breedlove Sims. Norma loved gardening in her beautiful flower beds and gardens. She also enjoyed reading but her passion was sewing. Mrs. Viniard was an avid seamstress since 1959 and loved to sew for her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Mr. Earl Eugene Lamb; a son, Kevin Lamb; three brothers, Charles Sims, Jimmy Sims, Eddie Sims.
Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include her husband, Mr. Harold Viniard of Dexter, KY; two sons, Bruce Lamb (Michele) of Coldwater, Kerry Lamb (Tracy) of Lawrenceburg, KY; a step daughter, Renae Williams (Darrell) of Graves County; a step son, Jimmy Viniard (Rhonda) of Graves County; a brother, Terry Sims (Audrey) of Mayfield; grandchildren, Whitney Lamb, Nikki Cossey, Justin Lamb, Emily Lamb and five great grandchildren, Brooks Lamb, Max and Miles Cossey, Evelyn Lamb and Eleanor Lamb.
The funeral service honoring Mrs. Norma Viniard is set for 2 pm on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North. Richard Burkeen will officiate and burial will follow at Farmington Cemetery.
Her family welcomes visitors from 11 am until the funeral hour at the Heritage Chapel.
