Mrs. Pattie Cooper Montgomery, age 69, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away, Thursday, March 7, 2024, at her home.
Mrs. Montgomery was born on February 21, 1955, in Ypsilanti, Michigan to the late James “Red” Edgar Cooper and Dorothy Jean Tucker Camp. She retired as a cook at Glendale Place and had previously worked for Hawaiian Tropic and Briggs & Stratton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Montgomery.
Survivors include three sisters, Pam Shelton and husband Michael of Farmington, Kentucky, Jeanna Maynard and husband James of St. Pauls, North Carolina, and Tona Steiger and husband Sam of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; three brothers, Jimmy Cooper of Paducah, Kentucky, Mark Cooper and wife Cheryl of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Jeffrey Cooper of Murray, Kentucky; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Tim Palmer officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
