
Marshall County’s girls track and field team members traveled to Marion, Ill. last Thursday to compete in the Joe Elliott Early Indoor Girls Meet. Two new indoor school records were set as well as eight personal records recorded for the team.
New indoor records were set by Bailey Allred in shot put. Bailey took first in the event with a throw of 34-01.00. Presley Gallimore set a new record while taking first place in the 400 meters with a time of 1:01.97. Another first place finish was recorded by Addison Lyles in the 3200 meters with a time of 12:09.56.
