McCracken County DCBS Tip results in felony drug arrests for two McCracken County residents.

On February 23rd, 2024, deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s
Office were contacted by workers with McCracken County DCBS. They
informed deputies they had received a complaint of illegal drug use
being conducted at a residence on Blandville Road. They stated the
drug use was being done in front of children.

Deputies went to the residence with McCracken County DCBS workers and
investigated the complaint. During the investigation it was
determined that Donald Reaves and Rachel Baumann both lived at the
residence with three minor children. During the investigation
deputies located a small quantity of Methamphetamine and items of drug
paraphernalia. Some of these items were in an area accessible to the
minor children.

At the conclusion of the investigation both Donal Reaves and Rachel
Baumann were arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.

Donald Reaves, 60 years of age was arrested on the following charges.

* Possession of drug paraphernalia.
* Possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense
(Methamphetamine).

Rachel Baumann 38 years of age was arrested on the following charges.

* Possession of drug paraphernalia.
* Possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 3rd or greater
offense (Methamphetamine).
* Wanton endangerment 2nd degree.
