Linda Diane Pogue, 79, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Providence Point Healthcare in Paducah, Kentucky.
Linda was born to the late Danny Wright and Erma Clark Callahan on August 29, 1948, in Marshall County, Kentucky. Linda was a homemaker who adored her family and any time spent with them. The only thing that exceeded her love for her family was her love for God. She was a member of Lakeland Full Gospel Church. Linda was also previously a member of the Homemakers Association and the Quilters Society.
Linda is survived by one daughter, Kim Waddell of Benton; two sons, Keith Pogue (Janie) of Draffenville, Kentucky, and Kerry Pogue (Dana) of Benton; three sisters, Sandra Jones of Aurora, Kentucky, Cheryl Channell and Sheila Oliver, both of Mayfield, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Emily Taylor (Eric), Elisha Taylor (Justin), Brody Pogue (Mikela Ryan), Allen Waddell (Amy), Josh Ham (Brittany), Chaz Waddell, EJ Pogue, Ethan Pogue, and Eleanor Pogue; and eleven great-grandchildren, Meah Nesler, Jaya Nesler, Lenox Nesler, Ealyn Taylor, Euriah Taylor, Jude Taylor, Lilly Taylor, Jaxon Waddell, Keian Waddell, Oakley Ham, and Kinsley Ham.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Clifford Pogue; two brothers, Terry Wright and Ronnie Wright; mother, Erma Clark Callahan; stepfather, Charles Callahan; father Danny Wright; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann with Bro. Gerald Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Matheny Cemetery.
