Lynn Aleshire Adams, age 56, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born August 2, 1967, in Cadiz, she was the daughter of the late Clarence, Jr. and Agnes (Oliver) Aleshire.
Lynn was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, and “Ommie” to her grandchildren. She was a member of East Cadiz Baptist Church and also attended Wallonia Christian Church. Artistically talented, Lynn loved to immerse herself in drawing and crafting, enjoyed playing games, and spoiling her precious granddaughters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Cary.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, J.D. Adams; two daughters, Jasmine Earls (Daniel) of Dover, Tenn., and Jade Pruitt (Rickey) of Cadiz; grandchildren, Olivia Pruitt, Ivory Pruitt, and Esmeralda Earls; two brothers, J.L. Hendricks and Robert Gayle Hendricks (Thelma), and three sisters, Susie Hendricks, Barbara Holloway, and Judy Mitchell (David), all of Cadiz.
A memorial service to honor Lynn’s life will be held at Goodwin Funeral Home, 138 Main Street in Cadiz, at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 14, 2024, with Bro. Ronnie Sivells officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
