Mr. Evans was a Laboratory Technician at ISP in Calvert City, and a member of Victory Baptist Church in Paducah.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Donna Evans of Paducah; two sons, Jamie (Holly) Evans of Paducah, Mike (Deborah) Evans of Effingham, IL; four daughters, Debbie (Stephen) Dew of Boaz, Shirley (Rick) Amyx of Paducah, Sheila Leigh of Paducah, Sharon (Mark) Roberts of Spencerville, OH; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Evans and Bessie (Ross) Evans; one grandson, Taylor Leigh; one brother, J.B. Evans; two sisters, Betty Allen and Moree Williams.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Pastor Mike Evans, Bro. Homer Fletcher and Bro. James Oates officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
