Michael Terry Mix, age 75, of Arlington, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at LifeCare Center of La Center.
Michael was born in Taylor, Texas, on December 27, 1948, to the late M.H. and Wanda Barron Mix. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Arlington and served in the United States Army. Following a career with the railroad, Michael moved to Washington, D.C., to work at the Capital in their maintenance department. He loved American history, and living in Washington, D.C., allowed him to witness much of our country’s history in person. After settling back in Arlington, Michael loved to be around his family, especially watching his grandsons play sports.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Natalie (Scott) Hayden of Arlington, and his three grandsons, Corbin, Garrett, and Copper Hayden, all of Arlington.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Arlington City Cemetery with Bro. Larry King officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
