Re: Arrests from Januray 26, 2024
The Sheriff’s Office responded to three separate calls on Friday, January 26, 2024, which resulted in the arrest of seven individuals.
On Friday, at approximately 8:30 AM, deputies responded to a residence in Pryorsburg for the report of a possible physical altercation. Deputies arrived, and while investigating the altercation, located methamphetamine related evidence in the home. A search warrant was obtained for the home which resulted in deputies locating methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and several firearms.
Those arrested at the home included Howard A. Green, 63 of Pryorsburg, Cynthia A. Wilhelm, 67 of Pryorsburg and Amber N. Christopher, 35 of Gentry, AR. All of the above persons were arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree – Methamphetamine – (Firearm Enhanced), Drug and Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess. Green was also charge with Strangulation 1st Degree in reference to the original call of the altercation and Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon. Wilhelm and Christopher were also charged with Possession of Marijuana.
Deputy Larry Jones investigated this complaint. He was assisted by Deputy Zac Smith, Deputy Greg Sloan and Detective Jamie Clark.
Later that afternoon, deputies were following up on an overnight call of a possibly burglary just south of Mayfield. While speaking with individuals about that complaint, deputies located evidence of methamphetamine use at a home on Pritchett Road. Deputies arrested Laura Butler, 48 of Savanah, TN, Jennifer M. Miller, 45 of Calvert City, and Edward C. Ellegood, 49 of Mayfield. Butler and Miller were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine – 1st Degree – 1st Offense and Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess. Ellegood was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine – 1st Degree – 3rd or Greater Offense and Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess.
Deputy Tony Cornwell investigated this case. He was assisted by Deputy Larry Jones and Deputy Zac Smith.
Friday evening, Christian Kaler, 23 of Symsonia, was arrested at his home after a home visit was conducted by the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole, deputies from the Sheriff’s Office and an officer from the Mayfield Police Department. Kaler was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine – 1st Degree – 1st Offense, Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia – Buy Possess.
Deputy Zac Smith investigated this case. He was assisted by the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole and Mayfield Police Officer Nick Workman.
All of the above individuals were transported to the Graves County RC Center and they were later transported to out of county jail facilities by Graves County Jail staff.
