KY Highway Water Over Road Report for District 1

UPDATE at 1:10 p.m Sunday., CST, for Fulton County

PADUCAH, Ky. (January 28, 2024)  Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) crews in several area counties are making rounds to check on flooded highways.

At this hour we have the following to report:

Fulton County
KY 94 is OPEN at the 7 to 11mm in the Lower Bottom Area southwest of Hickman between KY 311 and KY 1099
KY 94 Water Over Road signs have been removed at the 23-26mm in Willingham Bottom between KY 1907 and KY 1125 east of Cayce
KY 1907/Swamp Root Rd is CLOSED at the 0 to 3mm- Entire length

Hickman County
KY 123 is CLOSED between the 14 and 16mm at Obion Creek in the Hailwell Corner area – Signs posted

Marshall County
KY 1462/Benton-Birmingham Road is CLOSED near the 2mm at the Clarks River Bridge – Signs and barricades posted

McCracken County
ALL OPEN

Radar indicates widespread rainfall across the region with some heavier lines of showers moving from Southeast Missouri into Kentucky’s Mississippi River border counties.  Go to www.weather.gov/PAH or monitor area news media for more specific weather updates and alerts.

KYTC District 1 will attempt to provide timely updates on roadway flooding as new information becomes available.
