Mrs. Betty Jo York Mills, age 75 of Benton, KY died on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, KY, She was a homemaker and member of Benton Church of Christ.
Born Friday, July 9, 1948 in Gilbertsville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Thomas York and the late Dorothy (Hildreth) York.
Surviving are her husband, Jerry Mills of Benton, KY, son, Gary W. Mills of Hardin, KY, brother, Jeff York, wife Tracy of Benton, KY, sisters, Karen Byars, husband Ricky of Benton, KY, Sharon Groves of Cadiz, KY, sister-in-law, Cathy West of Benton, KY, grandchildren, Trevor Fowler, Kaleb Mills, Bethany Mills, and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gene York.
Private family services are to be held at a later date with burial to follow in the New Zion Cemetery.
