Rocky was born in Hartford, CT. to Janet and Raul Rivera. “Rocky” lived all of his life with his mother in Hartford, CT, Detroit, MI, Orlando, FL, College Station, TX, Dawson Springs, KY and finally in Paducah, KY. Rocky attended various schools during his life and graduated from Weaver H.S.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Margarita Ortiz and Rigoberto Rivera; his paternal grandparents, Juan and Benedict Rivera; his biological father, Raul; his dad, Robert Jeffrey Bright; maternal uncles, Rigoberto Jr., Jose “Joey” and Robert Rivera; his maternal aunt, Lorraine and many other relatives.
He leaves to mourn his mother, Janet; his sister Jeanette (Robert); his eldest niece, Alanah S. Kelly (Thomas); his great nephews and great niece, Brian R., Emma J., Atlas A., and Steven J.; his youngest niece, Alyja L. Kelly; Phillip and Sarai (and a host of maternal and Paternal Aunts, Uncles, and especially his cousin, Edwin Ely Rivera).
