She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and formerly worked at Dollar General.
Mrs. Alexander is survived by one granddaughter, Brandy Arnett of Mayfield, KY; one great-grandson, Brandon Graham of Paducah, KY; two great-great grandchildren, Justin Graham and Alyssa Graham; one sister, Teresa Mangrum of Mayfield, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Alexander; one son, Danny Alexander; one daughter, Jackie Gail Arnett; father, Marvin Holmes; mother, Ova Holmes Pritchett; two brothers, Gerald Holmes and Thurman Holmes; one sister, Imogene Armstrong.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Byrn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
