Vickie Hamilton Wall, age 66, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at her home in Hopkinsville.
Born September 14, 1957, in Man, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Effie (Sifers) Hamilton.
After graduating from Trigg County High School, Class of 1975, Vickie attended cosmetology school and soon after, began her lifelong career as a hairdresser. She worked at JC Penney Salon for 11 years before branching out on her own as a successful independent stylist for the next 34 years. She enjoyed tending to her beautiful flower garden and was an excellent cook, both traits she learned from her father and mother. Family was most important to Vickie. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and “Gran”, adored by her family, and she cherished the times when they were all gathered together.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Earl Deason.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Eddie R. Wall of Hopkinsville; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher Aaron & Leslie Adcock of Cerulean, KY; two grandchildren, Avery Adcock and Christopher Adcock; three sisters, Linda (Charles) Looney of Herndon, KY, Molly Deason and Connie (Greg) Oakley, both of Cadiz; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home, 138 Main Street in Cadiz.
