The Lady Marshals golf team will advance to the KHSAA Girls State Golf Tournament with Monday’s State First Round win at Calvert City Country Club. With a team scored 0f 304, they won by 40 strokes over Bowling Green.
Trinity Beth won individual honors with her 2-under par 70 and Katie Roberts placed third with a 3-over par 75. Adding to the team win, Skylar Waller shot 79, CeCelia Ray 80 and Brooklyn Cunningham an 85.
The state tournament takes place next week at Bowling Green Country Club on October 3-4.
