5th Annual Preston Cope Classic Wiffle Ball Tournament raises over $15,000 for scholarships and charity

A total of 51 teams competed in the 5th Annual Preston Cope Classic Wiffle Ball Tournament on Saturday.

The 5th Annual Preston Cope Classic Wiffle Ball Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 9 was a huge success with 51 teams participating and over $15,000.00 raised for the Preston Cope Foundation that gives Scholarships to Marshall County Seniors and helps with local charities like Marcella’s kitchen and The Bed Ministries.

“None of this would be possible without the support of our community, sponsors and wonderful volunteers”, Brian Cope said.

Mark your calendars for these future events. The Preston Cope Golf Tournament is scheduled to take place on April 28 at Calvert City Country Club. Next year’s 6th Annual Preston Cope Classic Wiffle Ball Tournament is scheduled for September 14.

The Hulagins won the elementary school division.
