On September 3, 2023 at approximately 1:30am Corporal Lamb with the McCracken County Sheriff Department conducted a traffic stop on John L. Puryear Drive in Paducah, KY. The driver of the vehicle was 31-year-old Travis C. Blanton of Metropolis IL. During the investigation Corporal Lamb and his K9 Vegas determined the presence of illegal narcotics in the vehicle. A quantity of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana was located inside the vehicle. Travis Blanton was arrested and lodged in the McCracken Regional Jail.
