Chelsy Solomon, the director of the Lakeland Event Center in Calvert City, holds several events each year with proceeds often benefiting local charities.
Over the years Solomon has helped raise money for Marshall County Needline, the Marshall County Family Resource Centers, Soldiers’ Heart Bluegrass & Muddy Waters, Hugs Project of western Kentucky, Bags of Hope and others.
