Marshall County’s cross-country team competed in their second meet of the season at the Madisonville Classic on Saturday.
The top results of the day came from Daniel Walker with a 27th place finish and Walker Jones who finished in 29th. Daniel finished with a time of 19:18.60 and Walker in 19:25.60. Ava Moore recorded the best finish for the girls’ team finishing 36th in 26:13.10.
Asher Alvey from Daviess County won the boys varsity race with a time of 16:52.70 and the girls varsity race was won by Emmie Underwood of Fort Campbell with a time of 20:00.30.
The Marshall County team will compete again on Saturday in the Memphis Twilight Classic.
