Mr. Johnny Robert Williams, age 81, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Friday, August 18, 2023, at the Murray – Calloway County Hospital.
Mr. Williams was born in Calloway County, Kentucky, on May 6, 1942, to the late Robert and Lucy (McCuiston) Williams. Mr. Williams was a retired farmer and truck driver and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Dianna Faye Williams; one son, Robert Kelvin Williams; and by one sister, Margie A. Winchester.
Mr. Williams is survived by one son, Terry Williams and wife Anita of Grand Rivers, Kentucky; special friend, Lottie Sheridan of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Jimmy Williams and wife Liz of Murray, Kentucky; four grandchildren, J.R. Williams and wife Amanda of Murray, Kentucky, Tisha Kirks and husband Kyle of Sedalia, Kentucky, Makayla Williams of Murray, Kentucky, and Makenzie Williams of Mayfield, Kentucky; as well as four great-grandchildren, Ty Kirks, Kody Williams, Jessi Williams, and Kole Kirks.
A funeral service for Mr. Williams will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Ray Murdock and Bro. Frankie McKinney will officiate, and burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Lynn Grove, Kentucky. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Sunday, August 20, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
