Mary Ann Avery, 66, of Ledbetter, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Baptist Health Paducah. She was born in Paducah on March 31, 1957 to the late James William Blair, Sr. and Hazel Mae Wiggins Blair. Mary attended Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed camping, traveling and going on family vacations. Mary loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Danny L. Avery; two sons, Daniel L. Avery and wife, Kerry of Ledbetter, Kentucky and Matthew Avery of Paducah, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Hannah Avery, Westin Avery, Ethan Avery, Mason Avery and Elizabeth Avery; four sisters, Brenda Wright, Rosie (Jimmy) Vaughn, Wanda (Wayne) Myers, Jo Ann (Chuck) Wring; brother, Gary (Carolyn) Blair, Sr. and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Barnhart; three brothers, James William Blair, Jr., Donnie Ray Blair, Donnie Lee Blair and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Sister Judy Warran officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
