Mauretta Marie Ivey LaGore, age 90, of Paducah, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 at home with her family by her side.
She loved cooking, dancing, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She was a 35 year member of the #3135 Fraternal Order of Eagles Women’s Auxiliary in Paducah. She will be dearly missed.
Mauretta is survived by six sons, Ricky Hall (Daphne) of Clinton, Kentucky, Gary Hall of Paducah, Terry Hall of Hickory, Brian LaGore (Jennifer) of Paducah, Kenny LaGore (Sherry) of Paducah, David LaGore of Paducah; one step-son, Doug LaGore (Brenda) of Reidland; two daughters, Cindy Burgess of Fulton, Susan Eubanks (JD) of Paducah; 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Ivey of Hickman and Jerry Ivey (Sharon) of Union City, Tennessee.
Mauretta was preceded in death by her husband, EB LaGore; one daughter, Linda Marie LaGore; two sons, Vernice Scott LaGore, Craig Hall; one grandson, Thomas Lee Woodall; one sister, Linda Ruth Mason; one brother, Shelby Wayne Ivey; her parents, Ted and Beulah Ivey; one son-in-law, Ricky Burgess, and one daughter-in-law, Kathy Hall.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Marshall Ivey officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
