Vivian Vaughn, 97, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 at St. Thomas West in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on June 5, 1926 in Iuka, Kentucky in Livingston County to the late Lorenzo D. Sauvage and Zetta Mae Driskill Sauvage. Vivian was retired from Paducah Power System where she was Senior Clerk. She was a member of Reidland Baptist Church.
Vivian is survived by her daughter, Sue Travelstead of Paducah, Kentucky; granddaughter, Stephanie Travelstead of Nashville, Tennessee; sister, Gloria Jane Slayden of Summerville, South Carolina; brother, L. D. (Jr.) Sauvage of Calvert City, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. D. Vaughn; two sisters, Lou Ella Coffer and Mary Z. Thomason; three brothers, Lynn J. Sauvage, Paul W. Sauvage and K. Devon Sauvage and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Mr. Eric Barron officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
