On 6/1/2023 the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office along with Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, and the West Kentucky Violent Crimes Task Force, executed a search warrant at an address on Keeling Street. Also assisting with this investigation was the Crittenden County Jailer. As a result of this investigation, a large quantity of methamphetamine, a handgun, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia were seized. The following subjects were charged and arrested from this incident.
William Mayers was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (firearm enhancement) 1st offense, 1st degree greater than 2 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, possession of handgun by convicted felon, and prescription controlled substance not in proper container, 1st offense.
Joseph Workman was charged with trafficking in a controlled
substance 1st offense, 1st degree greater than 2 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Both subjects were lodged in the Crittenden County Jail.
