
On June 6th,2023, at approximately 3:33 pm, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Blandville Road and Massac Church Road in reference to a two vehicle collision that occurred. While responding, deputies were updated that there were multiple vehicles involved and injuries were being reported.
Michael Scott, (68 YOA) out of Paducah, was traveling westbound on Blandville Road, nearing the intersection of Massac Church Road. Scott was operating a 2005 Toyota Camry.
Scott’s vehicle entered the intersection striking the front passenger side of Jacob Stewart’s vehicle, (31 YOA) of Cape Girardeau, IL. Stewart was operating a 2020 Chevy Equinox.
Scott’s vehicle then struck another vehicle in the opposing lane of traffic, operated by Addison Johnson, (21 YOA) of Paducah. Johnson was operating a 2016 Chevy Impala. Johnson had two passengers in the vehicle, Ashlyn Snell (20 YOA) of Paducah, and Colby Johnson, (17 YOA) of Paducah.
The momentum then caused Johnson’s vehicle to collide with Billy Wiley, (40 YOA) of Columbus Kentucky. Wiley was operating a 2011 Dodge Caravan. Billy had one passenger, Tanisha Wiley, (47 YOA) of Columbus Kentucky.
Michael Scott, Tanisha Wiley and Colby Johnson were transported to local hospitals for non-incapacitating injuries.
Addison Johnson and Ashlyn Snell were transported to local hospitals by family members immediately after the collision occurred for treatment for non-incapacitating injuries they sustained during collision.
Deputies were assisted by Mercy EMS, Carlisle EMS, Larry Meadow’s Towing, Jason’s Towing, Lone Oak Fire Department and Concord Fire Department. |
