Joshua Spencer, age 24 of Calvert City KY, was arrested and charged with Speeding 103mph in a 65 mph zone on Hwy 641S, reckless driving, inadequate silencer.
Chad Taylor, age 36 of Benton KY, was arrest on several bench warrants issued out of Marshall Circuit Court and McCracken Circuit Court. The warrants were all for failure to appear in court.
Jacob Burpo, age 41 of Benton KY, was arrested on a criminal complaint warrant for the charges of Criminal Trespassing 2nd degree, fleeing and evading police 2nd degree on foot and fleeing and evading police 2nd degree motor vehicle. The warrant was obtained by Marshall County Sheriff deputy stemming from an incident that occurred in Marshall County on 05/23/2023 where Burpo fled deputies when he was discovered unlawfully on the premises of the Marshall County refuse and recycling at approximately 8:30 pm.
Amanda Farmer, age 22 of Benton KY, was arrested on a criminal complaint warrant that was issued out of Marshall District Court. The criminal complaint warrant was for the charges of Criminal Trespassing 2nd degree, fleeing and evading police 2nd degree on foot and fleeing and evading police 2nd degree motor vehicle. The warrant was obtained by Marshall County Sheriff deputy stemming from an incident that occurred in Marshall County on 05/23/2023 where Farmer fled deputies when she was discovered unlawfully on the premises of the Marshall County refuse and recycling at approximately 8:30 pm.
Gary Keifer, age 65 of Gilbertsville KY, was arrested for Terroristic threatening 3rd degree. Mr Keifer was also served a summons for criminal possession of a forged instrument 2nd degree.
On 05/30/2023 Sheriff Hilbrecht presented a Life Saving Award to Chelcie Lynch.
On 05/28/2023 Deputy Daniel Burgdolf responded to an injury accident on I-69. Before first responders could arrive on the scene, Ms. Lynch stopped to render aid.
There were two small children trapped inside one of the vehicles involved in the accident. Ms. Lynch discovered that one child had a seatbelt wrapped around their neck and was suffocating. Ms. Lynch was able to free both children from the vehicle. Without a doubt, Ms. Lynch’s quick action saved the child’s life!

Whitney Gibson, age 34 of Benton KY, was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place when she was located lying in a ditch on Wesley Park Rd, manifestly under the influence of alcohol.
James Streit, age 31 of Smithland KY, was arrested and charged with Receiving stolen property over $1000<$10,000 for being in possession of a stolen vehicle which was taken from Livingston County. Vehicle was recovered from Soldier Creek where Streit advised that he had gotten it stuck.
Eugene Tomica, age 59 of Gilbertsville KY, was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place. Subject was arrested at the Sledd Creek boat ramp.
Terry Turner, age 46 of Hardin KY, was arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd and theft by unlawful taking when it was discovered that he entered a storage unit and removed items.
Braxton Grigsby, age 23 of Utica KY, was charged with speeding 94mph in a 70mph zone and possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle.
Sylas Darnell, age 19 of Gilbertsville KY, was charged with speeding 95mph in a 55mph zone, careless driving, no registration receipt.
Rayanna Martin, age 29 of Calvert City KY, was charged with failure of owner to maintain insurance 2nd offense, no registration plates, operating motor vehicle with expired operators license, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card.
Gilbert Littig, age 23 of Benton KY, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Marshall District Court for failure to appear in court.
Caden Melloy, age 23 of Benton KY, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol 2nd offense with aggravating circumstances.
Daniel Cuningham, age 43 of Calvert City KY, was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place. Mr. Cunningham was located walking on US 641 near Allegheny Rd.
Juvenile, age 16 of Benton KY, was detained and charged with disorderly conduct 2nd degree, resisting arrest, assault 4th degree, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia.
