Local pickleball players went to Paris, Tenn. to the Eiffel Tower Classic May 19-21. With 114 entries over three days, 20 players from Calvert City and Benton Pickleball Clubs brought home 23 medals – 10 Gold, 6 Silver and 7 Bronze medals. Most of these players have only been playing pickleball for a year or less. They have learned a lot from our tournament players who have been playing in tournaments for four years.
We are confident you will be seeing more of these players in the coming weeks as Calvert City Pickleball gets ready to host our very own inaugural pickleball tournament June 23-25 at our new dedicated pickleball courts in Calvert City. Make plans to attend and watch some great pickleball from our local players competing against players from Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
